A Psalm in My Heart: The Lord is My Helper

A PSALM IN MY HEART: THE LORD IS MY HELPER

Happy Tuesday morning!

I sometimes have dreams that come to pass. Other times I hear a word or see a vision. Today I awoke with a Psalm on my heart that I would like to share. A Psalm of David. A song at the dedication of the temple. How fitting considering we Temple Shapers have chosen to rededicate our temples! To devote our bodies and minds to the service and praise to God that He may be glorified.

Psalm 30:1-2

I will honor you highly, O Lord,
because you have pulled me out of the pit
and have not let my enemies rejoice over me.

O Lord my God,
I cried out to you for help,
and you healed me.

It is my prayer that these simple words will bless your socks off. It blessed me tremendously. See, this weekend I went through a rather rough time. So rough that all I had the energy to say was, “Lord, help me,” over and over again. This Psalm has given me confirmation that my help isn’t on the way, but my help is here! Your help is here!

You may often feel alone. That God doesn’t hear your cry. But trust me when I say that not only does the Lord hear your cry, but He is always with you and eagerly awaits the opportunity to step in and help you.

Matthew 28:20 confirms that Jesus is always with us, even to the ends of the world. That means that He will never leave your nor forsake you! Even when you feel as if you are in a dark place. Even when you feel as if you are at the end of your rope. He is there to help you. But you must hold on, trust, and believe.

I love you, but Jesus loves you more!

Until you read again…Hold Your Hope!
